Please fill out the submission form below to submit your dog to the website and for consideration in the Project DOG book. (1) purebred and (1) rescue dog of each breed will be chosen for inclusion in the final book.

I looked for Brody and didn’t find him. I think I originally sent you a picture before you had this automated page set up. I’m sure you have a Jack Russell picture already taken, and I didn’t think I was near one of your cities, but at least he’s on the website.

@sally the dog search ends when we find all of the dogs for each breed – we’re getting very close! The final selection will be based upon breed/location/entry… there will be a final user vote for a selection of breeds.

My Sally is a Standard Chihuahua(She’s listed here on this site) Lucy (Also listed) is a mix of Chihuahua + ?.Both are rescues. I hope they make the list.

Does the dog have to be a purebred? My is a rescue and probably an aussie shepherd mix, but since he is a rescue there is no way to know for sure.

First, this project rocks. Second, I misunderstood the dog’s siblings line in my submission–it should have said “Othello the cat”, not “unknown”, I guess I took it too literally. Oops! I know I’m not in your target area, but if you don’t find any other rescued WPGs we have friends in Denver that we can visit!

The info about your search for a Boykin in SF area was forwarded to me so that is why I sent this in. Mojo is a rescue but since Boykins area rare breed I am not sure you will find a rescue in SF. I do live close enough to Atlanta to travel there if needed. Actually I spend the summers in the NC mtns which puts me even closer to Atlanta! Anyway-this is the short version of Mojo-I call him the wonderdog. I don’t believe there is a thing he would not at least try to do for me if I asked him to.
