Arrival Story: My mom volunteered at her shelter, and fell in love with this physically disabled, funny looking bundle of laughs and love. Though he was a volunteer favorite, adopters passed by him for 8 months, afraid of taking a dog with a funny walk. Shelter staff suspects he was kept in a crate or weighted when he was growing, as he barely knew how to use his feet when they found him. Despite whatever his past challenged him with, he is an absolutely jolly people lover.
My dad started bringing their existing dog to the shelter ever day secretly, to accustom him to Radar. On my mom's birthday, my dad brought her down to the shelter and brought Radar out to say hi... with a big bow on!
Being one of the strangest dogs we've ever seen, we had him DNA tested. He came back 50-75% American Bulldog, the rest unidentified. Pig?
