Arrival Story: I recently moved to San Francisco and I didn't have any family or friends. So to spend my time I started volunteering with Family Dog Rescue, a rescue non-profit in SF. In late July, I began fostering Morty (who was originally Teddy) and by early September he was not adopted and at that point he had my heart. I couldn't find him another family and think about the future and wonder how he was doing, if he was okay, if he was being loved and cared for. In those two months, he became my dog and I fell in love.
He really is an incredible dog, he brings smiles to people's faces everyday. We're working together to volunteer and get registered as a therapy pup.
So why did I get my dog? Well I kind of feel like he got me.
In terms of his breed (s), I had a Cairn Terrier growing up, so I am familiar with Terrier breeds.
Rescue Organization (if rescue): Family Dog Rescue of Northern California
